Byalee Bewitched – alias Samantha – is the perfect package in the making. By the AWHA registered stallion Byalee Briar out of an ACE-registered dam, she is an incredible people person and has received extensive handling in the months prior to the auction.
Sammi has a friendly, blasé temperament, beautiful movement, and a stunningly bred international dressage pedigree with international jumping bloodlines. Sammi is by the successful imported palomino warmblood stallion Byalee Briar (by the legendary international Grand Prix dressage stallion, Bjorsells Briar 899, see front of catalogue). Dam Westside Story carries the well-documented dressage line Weltmeyer (World Cup) and is out of the mare by Contango II, who is renowned for his jumping lines, especially in Australian eventing, providing Sammi with an impeccable pedigree. Stefan Peters’ most recent international superstar, Legolas, was by Contango while the legendary Weltmeyer blood is responsible for so many Grand Prix horses.
Sammi trots in-hand, lunges and has a truly breathtaking jumping ability. She can be clipped, trimmed floated without drama. She is a beautiful filly with the world at her feet.
